SPORTS INTEGRITY

Maintaining sports integrity in Australia is crucial for fair play, transparency and trust in the community. Upholding integrity helps prevent issues such as match-fixing, doping and corruption which can undermine the credibility of sports and negatively impact athletes, coaches, officials and all stakeholders. Promoting ethical standards and effective regulations, Muaythai Australia can foster a competitive and equitable sports environment.

Sports can face many circumstances that threaten the integrity and enjoyment, such as but not limited to doping, illicit drug use, discrimination and abuse. Integrity in sport is a commitment that Muaythai Australia takes seriously in the knowledge that athletes, coaches, officials and supporters are confident that they are part of a fair, safe and inclusive sporting environment.

Members of Muaythai Australia have obligations to uphold and fulfill that contribute to maintaining the credibility and fairness of sport. Working closely with Sport Integrity Australia, which is the national agency established to protect sports and its integrity.
